Big upswing for Open Boatyard/Öppet Varv 2026 with 180 exhibited boats

At Open Boatyard/Öppet Varv 2026 there was more of everything: a record number of boats, a full 180, between 2 m and 22 m, 42% more than last year, which was a record year at the time.

This year there were more new sailboats, more new motorboats, more used boats for sale, more shore exhibitors, more parking spaces, more food trucks, more toilets, and more visitors than ever before. There was try-out-sailing, classic boats, an interesting lecture on long-distance sailing and three large outlets, where you could find bargains on boating clothing and yacht equipment. The atmosphere was great the whole time!

The visitors had a very wide geographical spread from literally all over the world. Every single fair visitor was genuinely interested in boating and the weather gods played along.

All exhibitors seem extremely satisfied with the fair. The organizer Hallberg-Rassy itself had the highest order intake during the fair days in terms of value ever in Open Boatyard/Öppet Varv's 33-year history.

Since there is no entrance fee charged, we do not have exact data on the number of visitors, but we can observe how many cars were parked and it was also an all-time record there. We estimate that we had between 25,000 and 30,000 visitors.

Open Boatyard/Öppet Varv has such a wide range of all types of boats, from 2 m to 22 m, new sailboats and motorboats, used boats for sale, classic boats, three outlets where you can find bargains on boating clothing and boating equipment, and not least an open boatyard, where everyone can see the different stages of building boats between 34 and 69 feet.
