Bluewater sailing lecture 23 August 2025 at Open Yard/Öppet Varv

It is a great old tradition, now for the 29th time, to have an interesting Saturday evening lecture at the Open Yard/Öppet Varv weekend.
The 2025 lecture will be held in English jointly by the family Helena, Michael and Martin, who have sailed their Hallberg-Rassy 55 "Mary I" around the Mediterranean with a home port in Turkey. From there sailed across the Atlantic to the Caribbean with the ARC Plus, then took the boat back to Europe aboard a freight ship. They are now in their new home port of Ellös, Sweden.
Martin, a school boy at the age of 10 when they crossed the Atlantic in 2022, had school education onboard, with his mum Helena as teacher. The family will jointly tell about their experience from this trip.
Application needed
The lecture will be held on Saturday 23 August 2025 at 19.00 in the cantine up at the boatyard, at the big wooden stairs, and we will start with dinner, followed by the lecture.
As the number of seats to the lecture are limited and a salmon dinner will be served, we request a pre-payment of tickets from you. The Saturday night lecture including dinner and beverage costs SEK 590 (roughly 54 Euros) per person. Please email this form and include your name, number of persons, address, mobile phone number, email address and if you should have any food intolerances. We will then send you a pay link for your card.
