Invitation to a press conference on the situation in the boating industry and the boat show Open Yard/ÖppetVarv

The press is hereby invited to a press breakfast on Friday, August 22 at 9:30 in the harbour area at Open Yard/Öppet Varv, Hallberg-Rassyvägen 1, in Ellös, West Sweden. The press conference is being held jointly by the Swedish boating industry association Sweboat, and the organizer of Open Yard/Öppet Varv, Hallberg-Rassy Varvs AB. The theme will be both the situation in the boating industry and the Open Yard/Öppet Varv fair with a presentation of all the news at the fair.

Please send your registration no later than August 20 to info@hallberg-rassy.se and state how many people are coming and which media company you represent.

Öppet Varv is organized by Hallberg-Rassy in Ellös on Orust and will take place on August 22-24, this year for the 32nd year in a row. The fair has grown significantly since last year. So far, 125 boats from 9 to 69 feet (2.9-22 m) have been registered, 45 more than last year, and even on land there will be even more yachting equipment to see than in 2024. New for this year is that both motorboats and sailboats will be on display.

On Saturday evening, August 23, there will be a lecture that requires registration and is on the theme of long-distance sailing.

There will be three outlets where you can find yachting clothes and boat equipment. And 21 boats from 34 to 69 feet in production in the boatyard. The harbour area will be home to new motorboats and sailboats, used sailboats and motorboats, classic boats and try-out sailing.

There will be live music on Friday evening and Saturday evening.

There is a wide selection of Food Trucks.
